Just a Spoonful of Fun!
One wonderful thing you experience through Pico is you get to talk to people all over the world, without leaving your home, and you can talk to the as an Anime character and dress up, it isn’t silly either. You have to see to believe, you actually dress up on whatever you want change when you want even change your face with 300 Gummies whatever you can bring it to life in Pico and that is what makes Pico so unique. I have played many online games, and yes the SIMSall PC and PS2 versions and add-on’s, okay cant really comment on the online Sims but, I cant say it could beat Pico I only here about restrictions and duties, you do not die in Pico you do not sleep you do not work, or need a restroom, but you can have them all and you can choose to do so if you feel the need and pretend!

It sounds childish but, you really get into this enough it is a daily game you get committed to, because you want to ring back everyone who rang you so you return the gesture and they get Gummies, (and now you get them for ringing people), you want to get your Gummies for the day before Refresh Time, when you start over, see the latest additions, add to your room or rooms, and most of all you stay in touch with your friends! It is a small community, and you would be surprised how many people are playing that are successful adults.

I see people, I get to know them, and they have great careers in real life. Yes, you could meet liars too, and decide your not what you say you are, but seriously its all in what your into I don’t like fakes. I am just me and the people I associate with…well you either take them as they are or guess what you don’t have to see them anymore leave them or block them from coming in your room, you control the changes!
I am fortunate enough I have many friends I know and love on Pico. They are like a second family, and I get to build, play, socialize, and do whatever my imagination brings me, and no one is going to stop you as long as your not cheating or hacking! Who could stop playing this game?? 🙂
You can make everyday an Event even over twenty times in a day! I had two big parties, one for 100 FAVS, & My Birthday, some of my best parties just happened out of nowhere! No reason, just me sitting in my room after doing my daily rings, and one person will stay and chat and then a next will come saying “Hi what are you up to?” Then we have more come along just ringing and staying for a while, next thing you know you look at the clock you have been on since Refresh at 7pm and its 3am! Just chatting or shopping or building, its great!

This is a great opportunity to thank these guys for standing by my side through the fun and through the not so fun! They were my very first friends in Pico, Owяi†h taught me all the basics about Pico, what to do what not to do, and he gave me my Dear Friend Berry 🙂 Berry is like my little sister in Pico and Owяi†h is like her father here, we just have each other’s back and are friends and family with no problems just talk about real issues, Pico issues and anything else we choose! I wont give you there complete names, unless they want, but Berry will always be Berry to me no matter what she changes to! She is sweet as can be! But, much like me she bites! If you attack her friends or her watch out! Cute as button, but WOW! 😉 Taken already too sorry boys!
Smart as a whip she will let you know what she thinks and never looks back! Now if your a friend she is right there and ready to step in your corner without hesitation!
Owяi†h is a great person inside and out he plays the drums here and in real he works hard as can be, he plays pretty much for the same reasons as me, STRESS RELEASE! And he is social as anything always willing to lend a helping hand, or lend an ear as a friend no judgments, and no questions asked. Questions come after the situation is resolved and always with a follow up note or ring, with “Is everything okay?”
Which is why I pick my friends the way I do, no judgments, just friends like we grew up having, not having to worry they would cut you if they could, like now a days! In the real world you have people you know would hurt you if you turn for a second, and they could be family, acquaintances, or friends doesn’t matter. Here you join because you get to know who you are with and stay or leave them, be a social friend like I describe, person you can confide in or you just see each other and ring and wave, no pressure!

Pico Katie is so awesome she is the girl in the rainbow dress. She is so confident, intelligent and someone who I truly admire here in Pico! She is so similar and states away, but we can talk for hours and days at a time, like we are two girls on the couch drinking a glass of wine! I love that about her! Her ability to make it okay to be yourself even when you feel like you are so alone in a crowded room, Katie will make you feel like you have always belonged. With a warm greeting like where you been? Come in, how was your day? How great is that?
Much like Berry and Cman in this picture, we are a family here and we dont care what anyone says! We are successful in our own departments and our own paths. Yet, we always have time for each other! Crazy ilfe styles and hectic days melt away when you talk to Katie or any of my friends from Pico! You can have real friends here and you can find so much more than a game!!
C-Man is a great guy! He is also a first buddy, we talked and talked and again though faraway, he really knows a lot about things that make me laugh and can always make a person feel better after they just had a day of getting kicked in stomach!LOL XD Great person all around never judgmental, very funny and whether he knows it or not he has made me laugh in some dark moments!
Rozen is a stylish girl and always there to invite you in her home! Never making a person feel left out! She is like me we have much to play with, but we don’t treat anyone differently! Always equal! And if you need to talk you can grab her and say what is on your mind she will always answer you as fast as she can!
Sophia. Ahhh Sophia! She knows a little bit of everything! And always gives you tips on different cultures! I can always count on Sophia to tell me the real reason having Sakura Blossoms is a great thing and where the origin began! She will tell you why giving Peaches is a great thing on someone’s birthday and tell you what the season is in any selected place! Not to mention she will tell you great remedies to fight of that kink in your neck, before you tell her you have one or how to soothe the common cold quickly and without spending a dime! 🙂 Love My Sophia 🙂 Check her and I out having a little fun in my room!

Ahh!! What a Beautiful Sight! (I know my big brother had the goal of owning every game console & he did!Except Sega, he said we weren't those people!)
Like: “Remember Contra?” I think everyone’s first cheat code usage!! LOL:) Up, Up, Down, Down, Left , Right, Left, Right B, A, Start, Select… right? Its been… umm… long time but I was so into that game!!!As with all of them we had to blow into and bang on lap to get to work after hours of us over heating the game!!!:)

That wasnt all I played of course! I played just about everything Nintendo put out, as I think we all did while trying to figure out what we truly liked verses what we played just to play any thing we could get our hands on! Nintendo if you got the package deal came with Mario Brothers, and Duck Hunt, and there was that Biker game… Excite Bike! Where you could change the course you road and do some sort of trick..never liked it. But loved the idea that I could design a track, and be in control of what came on the screen!
That game and Skate Or Die let me design things without looking like a geek, my brother was the one getting games, I was the one getting it after he beat it, or decided I could play it, and he was done. That is why I never got to play Zelda, the “GOLDEN GAME”! Man he never let me play that one! Whowever though, he had thought I couldnt play Contra or Metal Gear, I did and excelled as a gamer from that point on.
I was the cute girl at the Arcade, at the Comic Book Shop, the girl with the knowledge of the differences between DC and Marvel all by the age of nine years old! Why to be like my big brother! I loved it all!
I like many in my age group didnt have cable from infancy, we played out side, and then we played video games, then came cable!! OMG Cable! When the box first came out my brother (6 yrs older than me) he made the ever demanding argument that we could and should have cable in the house if the family wanted peace, I had no idea what he was talking about, I only knew it was the mission to get it so we united, I think I was somewhere in second or third grade, but the day we had it installed my brother took me behind teh huge TV that had a small one on it that worked, and taught me everything about installation of cable wiring, with the VCR, and the ways to operate the remote and the Nintendo all at once!
It was historical for me, very memoriable, because it meant freedom. Not having to ask him to fix anything when he was busy or not home and for him that was essential, but he knew he was doing everyone a favor by keeping me amused for hours! Armed with only a butter knife he taught me to go behind the TV without any fear and how to make sure all of the wires were in tact, and if I had to hook up my other game system,(okay it was a learning console, Socrates, never saw it in any other house but maybe you had one!)then I could do so and put everything back the way it was before bothering anyone for help. Basic enough, these were days without computers in your home or any type of I-Pad, no they were only things we stared at on Star Trek, not yet for us to enjoy, so you had to roll up your sleeves and do what you could with what you had. And we did!
Our first hand held game was a game that was only to play baseball and only had a red lit screen telling your score and you as a dot going from base to base. (Okay it was my brother’s but I played it like twice!)No Nintendo-DS, no phone with game apps, nothing much, we would get those one game held held things but once that small watch battery went apparently no one would think of getting us a new one! Then came Game Boy, we did’t get that, but we nagged other kids to borrow there’s sometimes I got to play sometimes I just stared at the kids waiting for them to put it down, which rarely occurred! I begged but never one that war my brother was fine without it he was not into playing Game Boy it wasn’t cool to be out side with girls and playing a game on your lap! So much like me not having a bike or learning until I taught myself on the kids down the street, I was jipped!
